Mangalayatan University, Uttar Pradesh Act” established the university and granted it the authority to issue degrees in accordance with section (2f) and 22(1) of the UGC Act. The Uttar Pradesh government announced the establishment of the university as Act No. 32 of 2006 through its October 30, 2006, Gazette No. 362/VII-V-1-1(Ka)-12/2006.

Mangalayatan University Aligarh is recognized by the University Grants Commission – Distance Education Bureau (UGC-DEB), allows the University to conduct open and distance learning mode of education in the higher education system.
Mangalayatan University Aligarh is entitled by the University Grants Commission (UGC) to offer online degree programs. Additionally, our programs are approved by AICTE.
